Adalena Patrick

Adalena M. Patrick, 90, of Leroy, passed away March 28, 2018 at her residence. She was born February 10, 1928 to Leco and Clyde Moseley. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she enjoyed numerous activities including sewing, crochet, quilting and cross stitch. She was also an avid fan of all things related to Auburn University. A lifelong member of Leroy Baptist Church, she served for many years as the church librarian.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Charles Edward Patrick.
She is survived by her children, Lee (Angela) Patrick, Kirk (Johanna) Patrick, Charlotte Alday, Cathy Patrick, Connie (Jerry) Overstreet; grandchildren, Clark Alday, Kelli Patrick, Kathryn Overstreet, Eleanor Phelps, Angela Patrick, Paula Sullivan, LeAnne Bosarge, Daniel Overstreet, Maggie Walsh, Charles Edward Patrick, II; 11 great-grandchildren and sisters, Patricia (Ray) McIntyre and Bettye Reeves.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 30, 2018 at Leroy Baptist Church with the Revs. Dave Delegal and James Watkins officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at New Leroy Baptist Cemetery with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be Clark Alday, Daniel Overstreet, Charles Patrick, II, Joseph Alday, Rob Reeves and Brent Bosarge.
