Agnes Keebler Young, born in Plateau, died on June 24, 2019 in Wasilla, Alaska where she spent the last two years of her life. Agnes, affectionately known as “Aggie”, was a member of Plateau Baptist Church. She graduated from Murphy High School in Mobile. She loved to work! Agnes had worked at International paper Co, Brookley Airforce Base, Eglin Airforce Base, Washington County Nursing Home, Washington County Hospital, and Chatom Clinic.
Agnes was preceded in death by her daddy, Wilton H. Keebler; momma, Sallie Bailey; sister, Myrem Keebler; husband, Levern J. Young; and two years ago her son, Michael W. Young.
Agnes is survived by her daughter-in-law, Beverly Jean Young; granddaughters, Ramona Young Gade, Amy Harren, and Samantha Finkenbinder; great grandchildren, Desire’e Gade, Jeanie Jurasek, Sabrina Jurasek, Michael Jurasek, and Mitchell Jurasek; two great-grandchildren as well as a host of other loved ones.
Funeral Services will be held at Lathan Funeral Home, Jackson on Monday, July 1, 2019. Visitation will be held from 11:30 am until 12:00 pm with the funeral service beginning at 12:00 pm.
