Alan Lane

Alan Lane, 56, of Lucedale, MS, passed away Friday, December 25, 2020 at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center in Foley. He was born in Jackson on February 29, 1964. He had been employed in the construction industry as a pipefitter, a job that required frequent travel. He was also an avid fan of The University of Alabama football program.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leamon Lane.
He is survived by his mother, Penny Lane; sons, Janson (Jessica) Lane, Cameron (Courtney) Lane; grandchildren, Amelia Lane, Juliana Hart, Olivia Hart, Ryker Lane; siblings, Leigh (Charles) Weaver, Bill (Joanne) Lane; niece, Shanna Knapp; second mother, Granny Bobbie Lane; best friend/brother, Joe (Angel) Rockwell, and numerous other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at McIntosh United Methodist Church with the Rev. Michael Perry officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be Alex Hamblin, Aubrey Knapp, Bill Lane, Cameron Lane, Janson Lane and Joe Rockwell.
