Aldora Poston

Aldora L. Poston, 80, of Jackson, passed away March 9, 2018 at a family residence in Eight Mile. She was born February 4, 1938 to Edward and Myrtle Langele. She enjoyed quilting and sewing and had been employed as a seamstress at Vanity Fair. Baking cakes for others was also a favorite hobby.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Charles Langele, Tarleton Langele, Oscar Langele, James Albert Langele and companion, Bobby Ray Odom.
She is survived her children, Linda Bobbitt, Mary (Anthony) Pouyadou, Patricia Shaw; grandchildren, Leeanner Sheppard, Kimberley Garrett, David Williams, Jr., Rebecca Horton, Tiffany Shaw, Raymond Shaw; ten great-grandchildren with Baby Fisher due to arrive soon and sister, Geneva L. Rhinehart.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 13. 2018 at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Winn Community Cemetery in Jackson with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be James Langele, Raymond Shaw, Tony Pouyadou, David Williams, Jr., Carl Davis and Tommy Lynn.
Trey Moss will be an honorary pallbearer.
