Alice 'Vicki' Hinson

Alice "Vicki" Victoria Hinson, 81, of Grove Hill, passed away January 9, 2024, at her home. She was born October 27, 1942, to Nevell and Edna Thompson Horton. She was a member of Magnolia Assembly of God where she was very active. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her flowers in her yard. She thoroughly enjoyed the time spent with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Marion Ferrill Hinson, her son Marion Edward Hinson, parents, great-granddaughter Sadie Michelle Wiggins, brother Joe Horton.

She is survived by her son Ferrill Nevell Hinson, daughter Alicia J. "Lisa" Hinson Bailey, grandchildren, Kasey Ready, Ricky Hinson, Michael (Anna) Hinson, Luke (Alicia) Hinson, Savanna (James) Gallagher, Michelle (Nicholas) Booker, Tori Bailey, C.J. Bailey, 18 great-grandchildren and 3 great- great-grandchildren, siblings, Joyce Waters, and June Crosby.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 15, 2024, at Lathan Funeral Home in Grove Hill with the Rev. Jonathan Hudson officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Antioch Baptist Cemetery in Grove Hill with Lathan Funeral Home directing.

Pallbearers will be Luke Hinson, Tony Hutchinson, Nicholas Booker, Lee Overton, Michael Hinson and James Gallagher. Honorary pallbearer will be Jonathan Hudson.
