Aline Stokes

Aline Stokes, 91, of Jackson, passed away July 26, 2018 at Jackson Healthcare Facility. She was born October 15, 1926 to B.W. and Alice Brown.
Mrs. Aline Stokes retired from the healthcare profession as a Registered Nurse. She was a faithful member of Stave Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clyde Stokes and sons, Phillip Stokes and Gary Stokes.
She is survived by her son, James E. (Virginia) Stokes; grandchildren, Julie Stokes, Anna Stokes, Julia Stokes, and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson with Dr. Andy Goode and Rev. Darren Williams officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
