Amanda Sharee Holley Dungan, 35, of Jackson, passed away Saturday, February 26, 2022, at her residence surrounded by family. She was born on Thursday, June 19, 1986, in Mobile. She was employed with The ARC of Clarke County and a member of River Hill Baptist Church in Jackson. She was known for her loving spirit and forgiving heart and "gave a hug that lasted all day." A devoted, "fun" mother, she enjoyed spending time with her children, her family and friends more than anything. She also enjoyed good food and going to the beach.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Floyd and Joyce Holley and maternal grandparents, Forrest and Patti Clark.
She is survived by her parents, Vince (Yvonne) Holley, Teresa (Darren) Burgette, Cyndy "Mom" Dungan. Children: Bronwen Dungan, Blaine Dungan, Jesse Floyd Dungan; her children's father Paul Dungan; brothers, Allen (Keri) Ferrell, Michael Ferrell; aunt, Cindy Alexander and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson with the Rev. Brian Dukes officiating. Visitation will begin at 12 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be Paul Dungan, Tommy Dungan, Allen Ferrell, Michael Ferrell, Vince Holley and Caleb McDuff.
