Ann Buckalew Weaver, 75, native of Marengo County and resident of Jackson, passed away on November 6, 2023, peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born on July 17, 1948, to parents Raymond Henri and Sallie Mae Kiker Buckalew. After retiring as produce manager for Greers, Ann's favorite thing to do was spend time with her grandchildren. She loved her family most of all and some other things that brought her joy were tending to her flowers, coffee on the porch, telling her jokes, and loved her Alabama football. Family and friends meant so much to her and she will be missed.
Preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Sallie Mae Buckalew, brothers Raymond Buckalew, and Roger 'Don' Buckalew.
Survived by her daughter Lisa Henderson, grandchildren Savannah (James) Yeager, Paige (Austin) Evans, Raymond (Michaela) Reed, great grandchildren TJ Yeager, Kristen 'Bug' Yeager, Grace Yeager, Carsen Yeager, Carson Evans, Audrey Evans, Addison Reed, and special friend Sylvia 'Tootie' Yeager, also many nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.
Pallbearers will be TJ Yeager, Tony Alday, Bubba Weaver, Rex Reese, Corey Blackmon, and Austin Evans.
Funeral Services will be at 12 p.m. on Thursday, November 9, 2023, with a visitation one hour prior to services at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson with BJ Hales officiating.
