Annie Grace Loper, 98, of Fruitdale, passed away Friday, June 19, 2020 at Washington County Hospital. She was born January 18, 1922 in Cullumburg to Lemon Bowen Underwood and Lola Mae Hartley Underwood. A member of Four Points Baptist Church, she had been employed as a seamstress with Vanity Fair. She was a hard-working woman who enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leroy Loper; siblings, Tommie Harvey, Ruby Dixon, Ruth Cooper and dear uncle, Walter Hartley.
She is survived by her children, Jerry (Pam) Loper, John Loper, Lonnie (Dannie) Loper, Gary (Petra) Loper; twelve grandchildren; numerous great and great, great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 22, 2020 at Four Points Baptist Church with Dr. Robert Kirkland officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Fruitdale Cemetery with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be Robbie Dixon, Corrie Hall, Richard Harvey, John Loper, Randy Loper and Bryan Lowe.
Honorary pallbearers will be J.T. Cooper, Wendell Hall and Joey Torrez.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Four Points Baptist Church.
