Barbara Gibson

Barbara Fralick Gibson, 74, of Grove Hill passed away on July 14, 2018 at her residence in Grove Hill. She was born in Megargel, AL to Thomas and Minnie Fralick on February 20, 1944. She worked for H. A. Satin, Vanity Fair, and Cato Fashions. She was an active member in Sovereign Grace Baptist Church.

Barbara F. Gibson is preceded in death by her husband, James C. "Sonny" Gibson; parents, Thomas and Minnie Fralick; siblings, Irma Turner, Thomasine Johnson, Tyrone Fralick, Joyce Benefield, Merle and Earl Fralick, and Randall "Pooh" Fralick.

She is survived by her children, Suzanne (Bobby) Moore, Kim (Jason) McGhee, Logan (Victor) Wood; siblings, Nina (Mickey) Welborn, Lavine (John) Kast, Judy (James "Bo") Branch, and Arvel Lee Fralick; grandchildren, Whitney (Justin) Fendley, Dylan Moore, Cameron Waite, Lindsey McKenzie, Jason "Jay" McGhee, and Kade McGhee; and great-grandchildren, Lydia Fendley and Kenzie Nicholson.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Lathan Funeral Home, Grove Hill. Funeral Services will be held immediately following the visitation at 12:00 p.m. with Kevin Fralick of Sovereign Grace Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Lawn Cemetery with arrangements by Lathan Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Dylan Moore, Cameron Waite, Jay McGhee, Justin Fendley, Victor Wood, and Scottie Rostas.
