Benjamin Robison Sr.

Benjamin Sutton "Benjie" Robison, Sr., 53, passed away Friday, October 16, 2015 at his home in Whatley. Mr. Robison was born April 18, 1962. He had worked as a painter and carpenter. In addition to being an avid Alabama Football fan Mr. Robison enjoyed hunting and fishing. His grandchildren and children were the light of his life and he will be forever remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.




Mr. Robison is preceded in death by his father, John Winston Robison. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Susan B. Robison; children, Benjamin Robison (Barbie Whatley), Dustin Robison and Brandon Robison (Meagan); mother, Jocille Sutton Robison; brothers, Rodger Robison and James Robison (Sharon); grandchildren, Dacy Robison, Haiden Robison, Declan Whatley, Blaine Robison, Emily Robison, and Anna Grace Robison; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.




Services will be held at Lathan Funeral Home, Grove Hill, AL. Visitation will be Monday, October 19, 2015 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Warren Shewmake officiating. Interment will follow in Whatley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Benjamin Robison, Dustin Robison, Brandon Robison, Christopher Overton, Jerry Wayne Gates and Earnest Williams. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bob Broadhead, Joel Broadhead, Steve Dunn, Benny Fuller, Josh Fuller and Ken Bracy.
