Betty J. Boudreaux, 78, of Fruitdale, passed away December 22, 2016 at the Washington County Nursing Home. She was born June 20, 1938 to William Cantrell and Maude Loper Cantrell-Wilkins. She was retired from Washington County News. She also had worked in sales at Gayfers in Biloxi, MS, co-owner of Biloxi Hardware, and Continental Trailways Bus Services. She was a graduate of Fruitdale High School and a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Citronelle.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, step father, Ollie Wilkins, and sister, Ramona Foxworth.
She is survived by children, Paul (Monica) Boudreaux, Jr., Scott Boudreaux, Pam Boudreaux Sharplin, Billy (Tammy) Boudreaux, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 6 p.m. on January 6, 2017 at Lathan Funeral Home in Chatom with Fr. John Coghlan of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church officiating. Visitation will follow the service.
