Betty Burge

Betty F. Burge, 89, of Jackson, passed away December 6, 2017 at her residence. She was born April 10, 1928 to Archie and Ada Jane Fendley. A member of the First Baptist Church of Jackson, she enjoyed spending time with her large family and loved flowers.



She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank L. Burge and great-granddaughter, Courtlyn Reed.



She is survived by her children, Charles (Kay) Burge, Henry Burge, Bill (Vicki) Burge, Ken Burge, Beth (Darrell) Overstreet, Amy Burge, Michael Burge, Angela (Darrell) Gates, Janet (Eugene) Dunegan, Nancy (Bruce) Overstreet, Donna (Buster) Hardee; sister, Kathryn (Willie) Smith; sister-in-law, Ida Mae Bell; 25 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other relative and friends.



Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 8, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Jackson with Dr. Ben Stubblefield officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Trinity Memorial Gardens with Lathan Funeral Home directing.



Pallbearers will be Ian Burge, Zachary Burge, Isaac Burge, Wesley Burge, Holt Stackhouse, Tyler Andrews, Randall Overstreet and Ladd Burge.
