Betty Griffin

Betty M. Griffin, age 82, of Jackson passed away in her home March 11, 2018. She was born in Alberta, AL on April 29, 1935 to the late Sophie Overstreet Marshall and Harry Marshall.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, the late Ben F. Griffin, to whom she was married for 51 years; brother, Willis Eugene Johnson; and sister, Debra Johnson Oneal.
She is survived by her three children, Kay McCraney (Griffin) of Gulf Shores, Janet Griffing of Gulf Shores, and Ben Griffin, Jr. of Gulf Shores; grandchildren, Brandon Williamson of Birmingham, Dustin Williamson of New Orleans, LA, MaKagan Griffin of Saraland, and Sophia Griffin of Gulf Shores; siblings, Earline Anderson of Perry's Chapel and Shirley Smith of Crestview, FL.
Memorial Services will be held at Lathan Funeral Home, Jackson on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Condolences may be left at www.lathanfuneralhome.com.
