Betty Stringer

Betty Jo Stringer, 79, of Coffeeville, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021 at her residence. She was born in Howardtown on August 16, 1941 to Glen Clark and Gaynell Parnell Clark. She was a lifelong homemaker and member of Bethel Baptist Church in Coffeeville. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and spending time outdoors, especially fishing and hunting large game of all kinds.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Odell Clark and Bobby Clark.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Stringer; son, Joey (Karen) Stringer; grandsons, Dustan Stringer, Brandon Harper and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at West Bend Baptist Church in Coffeeville with the Revs. Irby Weaver, Cliff Waddell and Ed Howard officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at West Bend Baptist Cemetery with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Harper, Ed Howard, Len Roberts, Doug Smith, Tanner Smith and Dustan Stringer.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Anderson, Billy Robinson and Gray Smith.
