Beverly Staley

Beverly 'Babs' Staley, of Jupiter, FL, resident of Grove Hill passed away December 12, 2023, at her home. She was born November 12, 1945, to parents Charles F. and Helen M. McConnell Bates in Whatley. Babs graduated from business college and worked for Pratt and Whitney in Connecticut and Florida, later retiring and enjoying time with her family in Florida.

Preceded in death by her husband Charles 'Chuck' Staley, her parents, brothers Robert 'Sonny' Bates, Charles Michael Bates, Donald Patrick 'Pat' Bates, Richard Terry 'Shorty' Bates, Timothy 'Tim' Bates.

Survived by her siblings Penelope Bates, John (Fritz) Bates, Pamela (Matt) Matlock, Phillip (Sheila) Bates, Julia (Ray) Skinner, and many other nieces, nephews, extended family and loving friends.

Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Mosley, Rick Bates, Shane Gibson, Trevor Gibson, Ayden Tompkins, Tommy Bell, and Reed Wilson.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at Whatley Cemetery.
