Billy Franklin Hyde, Jr., 75, passed away October 6, 2023. Billy was born December 5, 1947 to Billy Franklin Sr. and Jean W. Hyde. He was a member of Seven Hills Baptist Church in Mobile. He worked for the United Cerebral Palsy Recycling Program. Billy had many hobbies including fishing and working at the camp at Center Point. He enjoyed going to the mountains, especially Gatlinburg, TN, several times a year. Most of all, Billy enjoyed being with his loved ones: his dear children, precious grandchildren and cherished great-grandchildren. He didn't just spend time with them, he cherished doing the things they enjoyed and building memories that they will cherish for years to come.

Billy is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Barbara Ann Dunagan Hyde; children, Angela Marie Winkler (Jeff), Deanna Morgan (David) and Larry Hyde; grandchildren, Alexander Thompson, John Colt Franklin, Grayson Morgan and Samantha Morgan; great grandchildren, Brinley Ryan and Caitlin Ryan; and brother Johnny Hyde (Gale).

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Carol Parker and Robert Hyde.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 13, 2023 at Bethel Baptist Cemetery, also known as Webb Cemetery, in Coffeeville at 2:30 p.m. with Bro. Irby Weaver officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Billy's memory to Duke Cancer Center Bone Marrow Transplantation Center by visiting giving-dukehealth@duke.edu.
