Blane Guy

Blane D. Guy, 58, of Jackson, passed away November 12, 2016 at UAB Hospital. He was born February 7, 1958 to James and Frances Allday Guy. He enjoyed working for the Lord and was also a great husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, drawing, horses and stayed busy repairing small engines.



He was preceded in death by his parents and step-father, Elvin Bradley and brother, Danny Guy.



He is survived by his wife, Tina Turner Guy; children, Paul Dean Guy, Kristopher Blane Guy, Janet Lynn (Anthony) Turner, Traci Danielle (Meagan) Guy; grandchildren, Anthony Turner, Jr., Katelyn Turner, Elizabeth Turner and siblings, George (Kim) Guy, Jake Guy, David (Jane) Guy, Allen (Elaine) Guy and Jewel (Danny) Fleming.



Funeral services will be conducted at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at First Pentecostal Church with the Rev. William Hales officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Clearwater Assembly of God Church in Wagarville with Lathan Funeral Home directing.



Pallbearers will be Taylor Autry, Jake Guy, Jr., Daniel Mason, Tucker Morris, Larry Sullivan and Randy Sullivan.



Honorary pallbearers will be Willie Goodwin, Brandon Guy, David Guy, Jr., Terry Hunt, Donnie Pittman and Gerald Sullivan.
