Bobby Anderson

Bobby Anderson, 81, of Grove Hill, passed away on February 16, 2023, at Grove Hill Memorial Hospital. He was born on September 3, 1941, to parents Elvin M. and Emma Rutledge Anderson. He retired from Scotch Lumber after working 40 years as a saw filer. He was well known for his custom moldings, mantles, and ability to build anything out of wood. Bobby loved his friends and family.
Preceded in death by his parents.
Survived by his wife of 59 years Dorothy Armistead Anderson, son John (Audrey) Anderson Demopolis, AL, daughter Angela (Craig) Howard Tibbie, AL, grandsons Rob (May) Anderson, Blake (Bridgett Garrett) Howard, Devin Howard, Dalton Howard, great grandsons Jack Anderson, Rece Anderson, and great granddaughter Lilly Howard.
Pallbearers will be Craig Howard, Blake Howard, Devin Howard, Dalton Howard, Evan Pritchett, James Pendergrass. Honorary pallbearers Joe Langley, Wallace Byrd, Reese Mott, Travis Howard, Troy Stabler, Joe Davis, Dr. Ed Sellers, Pat Flanagan, Roger Hare.
