Bobby Jones

Bobby Dean Jones Sr., 55, of Campbell, passed away at Mobile Infirmary on March 15, 2024. He was born April 20, 1968, to parents Walter and Willie Dean Cramer Jones Jr. Bobby was a talented mechanic, he worked at several local businesses in the area. Bobby liked watching wrestling and Old Westerns and listening to country music, when he wasn't wrenching on a truck, he enjoyed sneaking off to go fishing. Most of all he loved his family and cherished their time together.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Survived by his children Bobby Jones Jr., Jessica (Clay Overton) Jones, Jeremy (Lauren Klinko) Jones, grandchildren David Overton, Layla Overton, Kimberly Jones, Sara Jones, brother Jay Jones, and two loves of his life Debra Shepherd and JoAnn Baggett, also many cousins, nieces, nephews, and loving friends.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday March 20, 2024, at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson with a visitation one hour prior to services. Brother Daniel Mairet officiating. Burial will be at Peniel Baptist Church Cemetery.
