Bonita Graham Deas, 79, of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Mobile on April 5, 1941 to Maurice Graham and Ola Small Graham. A homemaker, she was an active member at River Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her yard, cooking, entertaining her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Eugene Graham.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Warren Deas; children, Addie Kay (Bobby) Page, Samuel Warren (Michele) Deas, Jr., Darren Walter (Chandra) Deas; grandchildren, Jamee Houston, Johnathan Rodgers, Jennifer Nichols, Justin Trujillo, Kayne Deas, Jansen Deas, James Page, Jesse Page, Kayden Deas, Kolten Deas; great-grandchildren, Jeremiah Houston, Briley Houston, Caleb Rodgers, Lily Rodgers, Braydon Nichols, John Lucas Nichols, Lillie Grace Nichols, Maci Deas, Krislynn Deas, Hadley Trujillo; siblings, Delores Rice, Elouise (Gene) Adair, David Graham, Wilbur (Sandra) Graham; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 9, 2020 at River Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Henry “Digger” Creel officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jansen Deas, Kayne Deas, Kayden Deas, Kolten Deas, James Page, Jesse Page, Johnathan Rodgers and Justin Trujillo.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jamee Houston, Jennifer Nichols, Michael Creel and T.J. Foster.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Cemetery Committee of River Hill Baptist Church.
