Bryant B. Bolen, Jr., 69, of Jackson, passed away April 10, 2017 at Jackson Medical Center. He was born January 12, 1948 to Bryant B. Bolen, Sr. and Mary Holcombe Bolen.
An avid hunter and fisherman, he had also been active member of the Rotary Club which recognized him as a Paul Harris Fellow, a nationally recognized honor. He was also a member of Jackson United Methodist Church and Bear Lake, a private fishing club. He had also served the city of Jackson on the Volunteer Fire Department and the Port Authority Board.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Laine Wilson Bolen and sons, Bryant B. Bolen, III and Robbie W. Bolen, all of Jackson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on April 12, 2017 at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson with the Rev. Forrest Weekley and Eulogist George "Buddy" Skipper officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Active pallbearers will be Richard Skipper, Bob Bowling, Mike Furr, Roger Roberts, Scotty Finch, Keith Peavy, Dayton Gunter and Tommy Simison.
Honorary pallbearers will be George Skipper III, George Skipper IV, Thomas Ott, Gray Skipper, David Skipper, Ricky Milstead, Frank Tarrant, Charles Peevy and Don Meadows.
