Camilla Etheredge Miller, 83, died Wednesday, July 26, 2023. Camilla was born May 18, 1940 to Joseph Wilburn "J.W." & Velma Reeves Etheredge. Camilla was a proud member of the Alabama Retired Teachers Association having served over 25 years with the Clarke County Board of Education. She has worked as an aide at Harper Middle School and as Librarian at Wilson Hall Middle School. Camilla enjoyed decorating beautiful china which she shared with many of her loved ones through the years. A talented artist, Camilla had the honor of having her works published in two international magazines: The China Decorator & International Porcelain Artists and Teachers (IPAT) Magazine. Camilla will be deeply missed and remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and sister. Most of all, she will be remembered for her service to her fellow Christians and devotion to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Camilla is survived by her daughters, Charlotte M. Shoultz (Mike) and Charlene M. Rikard (David); grandchildren, Curtis Michael Shoultz (Heather), Mary Margaret Shoultz Boffenmyer (James), Vanessa R. Grover, Michael Jeremy Rikard (Cathleen), Thomas Ray Gibson (Lauren), Harley R. Carlisle (Robert), Stephen Windle Gibson (Emmie) and Kelly Rikard (Ben); great grandchildren, Stella Elizabeth Shoultz, Emma Charlotte Shoultz, Jacob Riley Boffenmyer, Camilla Alice Boffenmyer, Peyton David Grover, Jackson Gibson, Parker Gibson, Payton Gibson, Thomas Walker "T. W." Gibson and Kenneth Wray Gibson; sisters, Joan Stamey, Jeanie Young, Alese Barton and Sarah Foster as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Ray Miller; parents, Joseph Wilburn "J.W." & Velma Reeves Etheredge; brothers, James Willie Etheredge, Joseph Wilburn Etheredge, Randall Etheredge and Larry Etheredge, Sr..

Visitation will be held Friday, July 28, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at River Hill Baptist Church. Graveside service will follow in River Hill Baptist Cemetery with Lathan Funeral Home directing. The family request that in lieu of flowers donations be made In Memory of Camilla Etheredge Miller to White Smith Memorial Library, P.O. Box 265, Jackson, AL 36545.
