Carolyn Grace Rowley Dillon, 77, passed away on September 12, 2022. She was born June 10, 1945, to Francis Charles Rowley and Elizabeth Wilson Rowley in Margarita, Canal Zone. Now Panama. She worked for The Department of Defense while living in Panama. After moving back to Alabama, she worked for the Clarke County Commission in Grove Hill. Carolyn was a gifted artist whose talent was expressed through many different mediums, from painting china, to creating extravagantly decorated eggs, baking and decorating delicious and beautiful cakes and an assortment of other baked goods. Carolyn put her heart and joy into each creation. She even found time to cater events with her husband Richard! Carolyn attended First Assembly of God Church in Jackson, she enjoyed teaching Sunday School and was quick to share her knowledge of the Bible with those around her.
Preceded in death by her parents and husband Richard John Dillon.
Survived by her beloved sons John Dillon and Robert Dillon and grandsons Matthew Dillon and John Patrick Dillon.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at the First Assembly of God Church in Jackson with a visitation one hour prior to the services. Pastor Kevin Lewis officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing. Online condolences may be shared at www.lathanfuneralhome.com
