Charles Bouler

Charles Edward Bouler, 82, died at his home in Grove Hill on January 18, 2020. He was born April 4, 1937 to the late Benjamin W. and Maggie Reid Bouler. Charles was an active member of Grove Hill Baptist Church. He served his church as a deacon, chairman of deacons, Sunday School teacher, Director of Adult III Sunday School department, working with the bus ministry and working with the nursing homes ministry. He retired from ALDOT after working many years.

Charles is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Sarah Alice; daughter, Angie (Gene) Reynolds and granddaughter, Ali Reynolds.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ben Bouler, Jr. and three sisters, Cula Lee Williamson, Dorothy Tison and Ruth Johnson.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Grove Hill Baptist Church with Drs. Randy Boone and Randy Johnson officiating and Lathan Funeral conducting. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Grove Hill Town Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Donal Dunagan, Stan Hutto, Larry Bagley, Gerald Criswell, Gray Smith, J.W Reeves, Ray Sheffield and Bo Cross.

Honorary pallbearers will be Pat Dunagan, George Pugh, Travis Kelly and the Men’s Sunday School Class.
