Charles R. Brown, 83, of Jackson died November 12, 2019. He was born August 24, 1936 to James and Alma Dortch Brown. He was a graduate of Jackson High School and Auburn University where he participated in wrestling and received a degree in architecture. He used his degree to follow his father’s path and built many homes in the Jackson area while operating his own construction company. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Jackson.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Betty Brown, and brother, Louie Brown.
He is survived by his daughter, Fran E. Brown, brother, James Earl Brown, numerous nieces, nephews, special friends and caregivers Annette Wright and Allison McDonald.
Private services were held November 15th. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Pilots for Christ at www.pilotsforchrist.net and St. Judes Hospital at www.stjude.org.
