Charles Scarbrough

Charles R. Scarbrough, 86, of Calvert, AL passed away April 10, 2022 in Jackson, AL. He was born February 10, 1936 to parents Sialas and Mattie Givins Scarbrough. Mr. Scarbrough worked in the heating and air conditioning business and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Preceded in death by his wife, Esther Scarbrough, daughter, Belinda Berry, and son-in-law, Gene Parker.
Survived by his children, Ellen Parker, Phyllis (Johnny) Wiggins, Greg (Sue) Scarbrough, his sister, Pearl Odom and 12 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be: Gregory Scarbrough Jr., Derek Scarbrough, Trey McConnell, Jacob Lankford, Barry Gollant Jr., Charlie Tolbert. Honorary Pallbearers: William McConnell, Josh Lankford, Jeremy Lankford, and Chris Jordan.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Red Bank Cemetery with Rev. Leland James officiating and Lathan Funeral Home Directing.
