Charles Taylor

Charles David “Charlie” Taylor, 49, of Grove Hill, passed away June 4, 2019 at his residence. He was born January 23, 1970 to David Mack Taylor and June Rea Reynolds Taylor in Wayne County, Mississippi. He had been employed as a truck driver and was a member of Springbank Baptist Church in Silas. An avid fisherman, he was also a huge fan of The University of Alabama athletics programs, especially football and baseball. He had played baseball himself while attending college in Scuba, Miss.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his son, Brylan (Taylor Stone) Taylor; mother, June Taylor; brother, Bobby (Patti) Taylor; nephews, Blake Taylor, John Michael Taylor; niece, Elaine Williams and numerous friends.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Lathan Funeral Home in Grove Hill with the Rev. Renea Henderson officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
