Claire Lee Dickinson Williams, 91, of Fruitdale, passed away on December 20, 2024, at the Washington County Nursing Home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Deer Park, Alabama on February 16, 1933, to parents Montree Lee and Lillian Dickinson.

Claire attended Deer Park School and graduated from Fruitdale High School. She was a stay-at-home mom for many years. After her children entered school, she was employed as the Fruitdale High School Cafeteria Supervisor. She obtained her LPN license and worked at the Washington County Hospital until her retirement. She then joined her husband in a trucking business, Claire Lee and TG had celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary December 26, 2000, prior to TG's death on June 5, 2001. Claire's greatest pleasure in life were her husband and children. She loved to cook for them and loved for them to bring their friends to their home. She served at Fruitdale Baptist and supported their family in all of the church activities, later in life she was busy with her seven grandchildren. Claire Lee Williams was a loving and supportive wife, mother, and grandmother.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Thomas Giles Williams, son Wade Williams, daughter-in-law Loretta Williams, son-in-law Delton Ray Turner Sr., four brothers and one sister.

Claire is survived by her three daughters Cindy Turner, Joan Moore, and Gina (Ronnie) Williams. Seven grandchildren Delton Ray (Joy) Turner Jr., Duston (Heather) Turner, D'Anna Lee (Kasey) Broussard, Eric Thomas Moore, Nicholas (Danielle) Rhoads, Yarby (Nicole) Rhoads, and Kristin Williams. 14 great grandchildren Cheyenne (Alex) Carlton, Dawson Turner, Rylie Turner, Laura Turner, Jude Broussard, Liam Broussard, Elita Claire Broussard, Frasier (Ashley) Givens, Bryce Moore, Allyson Rhoads, Marisa (Colin) Lee, Malena Young, Zackary Thomas Rhoads, and Anderson Rhoads. Four great-great grandchildren Killian Carlton, John-Luke Phillips, Stetson Phillips, and Aspen Lee. Also brother in law Hal Williams (Will) and sister in laws Bobbie (Doug) Price and Margie (John) Busby, and many other extended family members and loving friends.

Pallbearers will be Grandsons: Del Ray and Dusty Turner, Eric Thomas Moore, Kasey Broussard, Nick and Yarby Rhoads.

Honorary pallbearers will be granddaughters D'Anna Lee Broussard and Kristin Williams.

A special thank you from Claire's family to her nephew Max Williams for reading of obituary and prayer at service, our dear friend Christine Davidson for special music at service, to her grandchildren, Dusty, D'Anna and Nick for memories shared at service. A special thank you to Brandon Goulding and Lathan Funeral Home, Washington County Nursing Home staff, Chatom Primary Care and Legacy Hospice.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 23, 2024, at Grace Williams Cemetery in Fruitdale.
