Claudia Dearmon

Claudia Mable Dearmon, a native of Millry, AL, was born March 5, 1939 in Jay, FL. A retired seamstress from Cam Corp in Chatom, AL, she passed away on the evening of June 16, 2015 at the age of 76.


She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Ginnie and Gary Johnson of Millry, AL and Ruby and Glenn Gordan of Fruitdale, AL; two sisters, Jeanette Dearmon of Millry, AL and Lauren (Jimmy) Morris of Mobile, AL; one brother, Daniel (Denise) Wolfe of Huntsville, TX; two grandsons, John (Angela) Johnson and Victor Rudd; three granddaughters, Annette (Terry) Williams, Teresa Everette and Trisha (CJ) Guy; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great- grandchild and companion, Bill Dearmon.


She was preceded in death by her mother, Amanda Wolfe; father, Wad Wolfe and four brothers, Jimmie Jo Nelson, Pety Christian, Bobbie James "Eddie" Wolfe, Raymond Wesley "Buddy" Wolfe and one brother-in-law, Perry Gene Dearmon.


Visitation will be Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lathan Funeral Home in Chatom, AL. The funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. with Bro. Frank Thornton officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Grace Williams Cemetery in Fruitdale, AL. with Lathan Funeral Home directing.


Pallbearers will be Victor Rudd, John Johnson, Terry Williams, Brandon Cartwright, Lee McNaughton and CJ Guy.
