Clifton Carroll

Clifton Leroy Carroll, 77, of Chatom, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at his residence. He was born September 6, 1944 in Hancock County, Mississippi. He had been employed as a truck driver with the Hancock County Commission prior to moving to Alabama. He was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church in Mississippi. A talented artist, he also enjoyed refurbishing antique cars and attending car shows.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Evelyn Carroll Langenbacker; stepfather, Frank Langenbacker and brother, Andrew Langenbacker.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Smith Carroll and niece, Debbie Holley.
No funeral services are planned at this time. A private family service will be conducted at a later time.
