Clinton Green

Clinton Anthony “Clint” Green, age 36, of Jackson died July 21, 2019. Clint was born September 29, 1982 in Grove Hill to Jeff and BaBa Green. He was employed by G D Copper in Pine Hill. Clint enjoyed listening to old classic rock music and reading suspense and mystery novels, especially by Stephen King. He was an avid fan of the University of Alabama Football and wore his favorite old cap almost daily. Clint also enjoyed working on his motorcycle.

Clint is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary Nell Green, Addie Marie Brown, and Alfred “Bubba” Thompson and his uncle, David Green.

He is survived by his parents; aunts and uncles, Norman and Elaine Green, Fred and Sue Green, Ruth Dennison, Jeff and Taltha Gollotte, Regina Pugh, Alice Thompson, and Carolyn (Donna) Thompson; girlfriend, Lynette Greer, as well as numerous cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.

Services will be Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until the time of service at 2:00 pm with Rev. Larry Sullivan officiating. Interment will follow at Stave Creek Baptist Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Paul Dungan, Marcus Green, Jason Johnson, Wesley Kelly, Brad Williams and Chad Williams.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ken Dale Hoven, Mitchell Hoven, Dave Woodyard, Jason Overstreet, Jeff Douglas Campbell, Jennifer Campbell, Mac Henley, Ralph Ryser, and the Jackson High School Class of 2001.
