Clyde R. Scarbrough, 79, of Mobile, passed away February 24, 2018 at Brookwood Villa Personal Care Home in Waynesboro, MS. He was born March 27, 1938 to James Ernest and Hattie Brown Scarbrough. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, he was a past master with the Howard E. Palms Masonic Lodge and a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Mobile. He had been self-employed with Teachers ‘N Tools (TNT), a company he founded in 1974 that served schools throughout the region.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judy Williams Scarbrough; sons, Ernest (Veronica) Scarbrough, Jason (Jeannie) Scarbrough; grandchildren, Blake, Ashley, Sean, Alex; great-granddaughter, Ayla; siblings Ernestine Taylor, Melanie (Leslie) Stokely and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Lathan Funeral Home in Chatom with the Revs. Nick Williams and Jerry Taylor officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
