Darrol Armistead

Darrol Wayne Armistead, age 69, of Grove Hill, AL passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Mobile Infirmary. Mr. Armistead was born on January 24, 1947 to Gordon W. Armistead and Minnie M. Dumas Armistead. He was a heavy equipment operator and retired from the Clarke County Road and Bridge Department. Mr. Armistead was preceded in death by his father, Gordon W. Armistead. He is suvived by his mother, Minnie M. Armistead; sister, Sheryl E. Armistead; Niece, Tracy (Kenny) Lawson; great nieces, Brittni, Bethany and Madison. Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 2PM at Magnolia Lawn Cemetery with Bro. Sammy Singleton officiating. Pallbearers will be Dean Dumas, Dale Dumas, Tom Dumas, Mike Wilson, Ward Edge, Chuck Andrews and Ralph Armistead. Lathan Funeral Home, Grove Hill, AL, directing.
