David Tipper

David John Tipper, 66, of Jackson, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Choctaw General Hospital in Butler. He was born in Birmingham, England on October 3, 1954 to Kenneth Arthur Tipper and Norah Mary Sollars Tipper. An avid outdoorsman, he had been employed as a forester at several area land management and timber companies. His hobbies included collecting Ford Mustangs and trains, cartography, reading Stephen King novels and watching Star Trek and Star Wars movies. He was a member of Forest Avenue Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jane Tipper Reese.
He is survived by his children, Morgan Tipper (Michael) Clements, Victor (Dallas) Tipper, II; grandchildren, Travis Ridge Clements, Maddox Arthur Tipper, Tipper Norah Clements; the mother of his children, Belinda “Candy” Tipper (Mark) Frazier and numerous friends.
A private family memorial service will be conducted at a later time.
