Donna Lynn Davis, 51, of Chatom, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Mobile Infirmary. She was born in Roanoke on February 17, 1969 to Henry W. Sheppard, Sr. and Linda Lynch Sheppard. She was employed as the activities coordinator at Washington County Nursing Home and was a member of Millry Holiness Church where she served as the church pianist and led the Children’s Crusade.

She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Sheppard, Sr. and brother, Henry Shepherd, Jr.

She is survived by her mother, Linda Sheppard; husband, James “Jamie” Davis; children, Allen (Chasity) Davis, Johnathan (Stephanie) Davis; grandchildren, Kara Davis, Caleb Davis, Lydia Davis, Abigail Davis, Tirzah Davis; sister, Mary (Chris) Roper; numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Reynolds Holiness Church in Chatom with the Revs. Chris Roper and J.J. West officiating. A private interment service will be conducted at Millry Holiness Church with Lathan Funeral Home directing. There will be no public visitation and face masks are required.

Pallbearers will be Danny Smith, Austin Roper, Blake Roper, Michael Smith, Levi Smith, Hannon Smith, Timothy Vann and Kenny Goldman.

Joshua Irvin will be an honorary pallbearer.
