Edward Catrett

Edward Douglas "Ed" Catrett, 74, of Camden, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at his residence. He was born on Friday, January 30, 1948, in Stockton. An avid outdoorsman, he loved his home on the Alabama River where he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved to participate in bass tournaments and won the Mobile Bass Association City Tournament in 1981 and 1991. For forty years, he owned and operated Ed Catrett General Contracting.
He is survived by his wife, Merrill Bounds Catrett. He was preceded in death by his parents, Auburn Douglas and Sadie Mae Whatley Catrett Byrd and sister, Sarah Catrett Davidson.
