Edward Henson

Edward Henson, 57, of Bayou La Batre, passed away October 14, 2017 at his residence. He was born October 18, 1959 to Collie Franklin and Vester Earline Henson. He enjoyed hunting, watching TV and auto mechanics. He also loved his children and dogs and had been self-employed as a carpenter.



He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Conagher Sellers and siblings, Betty Koen, Carlene Wynn, Herman Henson, Lindia Guy, Wanda Smith, David Henson and Emogene Henson.



He is survived by his children, Eddie (LeAnn) Sellers, Amberly (Jerry) Abston, Virginia Henson, Lucinda Henson; grandchildren, Leia Sellers, Colley Sellers, Liberty Sellers, Lydia Sellers, Leander Sellers, Moe Sellers, Coy Sellers, Jaryden Abston, Cooper Abston, Walker Henson; siblings, Juanita Elmore, Olivia Lloyd, Pearl Carney, Bama Meeks, Needam Henson, Michael Henson, Marilyn Dempsey, Edna Finney, Rachael Tucker, Richard Henson, Gloria Henson, Tenia Lowery and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.



A memorial service will be conducted at a later date at New Hope Methodist Church with the Rev. Ernie Henson officiating.
