Edward Coleman Noble, 66, of Jackson, passed away January 4, 2017 at his residence. He was born May 5, 1950 in Grove Hill to Chester C. Noble and Rebekah McClure Noble. A graduate of Jackson High School, he also attended the University of Alabama and enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. He retired from Georgia Pacific in Monroeville.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E.O. McClure and Mr. and Mrs. CC Noble.
He is survived by his mother; wife, Sharon Howell Noble; children, Chet (Jeana) Noble, Shelly Branch; grandchildren, Cydnee Roberts, Mason Young, Hunter Pitre Noble, Cooper Branch, Salem Noble, Alex Noble and siblings, Janet (Speck) McCants, Sam (Frances) Noble, Tom (Suzanne) Noble, Marsha Walker and Frank (Molly) Noble.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson with the Rev. Scott Armstrong officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Active pallbearers will be Kenny Roeman, Robert Bumpers, Will Chapman, James Hull, Robert Byrd, Burke Lancaster, Johnny House, and Ernie Goldman.
