Elizabeth Leona Sullivan passed away peacefully at her home May 30, 2024.
Mrs. Sullivan was born to Charity Savannah "Marie" Boatwright and the late Leonard Peacock on June 18, 1940. She was raised in the Whistler portion of Mobile, AL where she attended Vigor high school and met the love of her life, James O. "Jimmy" Sullivan, Jr. and were married for over 40 years until his death in 1999.
Mrs. Sullivan was an avid homemaker and collector. She loved shopping and looking for 'good stuff' and treasures of all kinds. A perfect outing for her included a day of shopping, getting a manicure and having a sit-down lunch at one of her favorite restaurants.
Although a very private person, Mr. Sullivan loved her family dearly and wanted them to be with her often.
She loved animals-especially dogs- and would take care of almost anything that strayed up along with her most beloved pets.
Mrs. Sullivan is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Marie Wilkins and her late husband James O. "Jimmy" Sullivan, Jr.
She is survived by her children, Sandra Davis of Saraland, David O. Sullivan of Miami, FL. and Kenneth (Janice) Sullivan of Wagarville; grandchildren: Ashley Davis of San Diego, CA, Lauren (Thomas) Wheat of Saraland, Brandt Davis of Saraland, and James O. "Trey" Sullivan III of Wagarville; and great grandchildren Amelia Davis, Tripp Wheat, Shaw Wheat and Steven Sutton.
