Ellen Beech

Ellen Alene Beech, 89, of Millry, passed away October 25, 2022, at her home. She was born September 13, 1933, to Charlie and Agnes Cooper Chafin. Alene was a devoted member of Yarbo Assembly of God Church. She was a very devoted Christian woman who put the Lord first in her life. She loved to sew, crochet, and read her bible. Alene loved her family with all of her heart, she shared her love of God with many throughout her lifetime and was known for her love of giving.

Preceded in death by her husband Rev. Lavoy E. Beech, parents, sister Gladys Gilley, and brothers Norman Chafin and Pete Chafin.

Survived by her daughters Donna (Wayne) Richardson, and Sabrina (Ray) Newsome, grandchildren Micky Richardson, Stacie (Michael) Sullivan, Chance Newsome, great grandchildren Michael Scott Sullivan, Spencer Richardson, Alex Richardson, J.D. Sullivan, one great-great grandchild Axel Richardson, brother Eugene Chafin, sister Ella Dees, and many other extended family members and loving friends.

Pallbearers will be Sam Phillips, Ben Atcheson, Jason Carpenter, Jason Goldman, Heath Hayes, and Shane Carpenter.

Funeral services will be at 12 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Yarbo Assembly of God Church with a visitation one hour prior to services. Bro. Greg Morris officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing. Online condolences may be shared at www.lathanfuneralhome.com
