Emile Boucher

Emile O. Boucher, 91, died November 19, 2022 at Jackson Medical Center. Emile was born September 6, 1931 in Massachusetts to Emile A. and Stella Boucher. Emile had worked as a high school English teacher for many years prior to owning his own fish market in Florida for around 25 years. A member of Sacred Heart Catholic Parish, Emile was immensely devoted to the church and his faith. He was an enthusiastic fan of the Red Sox and all other Boston teams. Emile loved his family dearly and cherished the time he spent with them.

Emile was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife of 53 years, Estelle Boucher and five siblings.

He is survived by his children, Mark (Diana) Boucher, Diane (Tom) Johnson, Mike (Mary) Boucher, Joe (Chris) Boucher, Chip (Elizabeth) Boucher and Tom (Cheri) Boucher; his siblings, Rose McCluskey and Charlie Boucher; 18 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 11:30 until 12:30 at Sacred Heart Catholic Parish in Grove Hill. Eulogies will be held from 12:30 until 1:00 pm with Funeral Mass beginning at 1:00 pm with Father Travis Burnett officiating.
