Emma Muryle Beech, 76, of Saraland, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Chatom on April 17, 1944 to W.T. and Mamie Gibson Flint. She was a loving wife and mother and enjoyed reading and collecting butterfly figurines. She was able to see and experience other cultures and places while traveling and supporting her husband during their time in the military.
She did volunteer work in elementary schools, both here and abroad and was an active member of the military community, helping to raise funds for schools, churches and any organization with a need. She received numerous awards and accolades for her generosity and work throughout her twenty years of service to the military community.
She found joy in her service to others, but her greatest love was for her Lord above, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Clifford Wayne Beech; four children, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Fairhope Baptist Church Cemetery with Minister Kenny Drake officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing. There will be no visitation.
