Eva Kelley

Eva Kathleen Boroughs Kelley, 71, of Frankville, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2022, surrounded by family. She was born in Birmingham on Thursday, June 29, 1950. She enjoyed sewing, cross stitch and making quilts for family and friends and was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves baseball team and the University of Alabama football team. She was devoted to the care of her family, including attending the activities of her children and grandchildren. A member of Wagarville Baptist Church, she had worked at Moore's Department Store in Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, R.L Boroughs, Dorothy Patrick Boroughs and siblings, Rufus Boroughs and Cecile Howard.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Olan L. Kelley, Jr.; Rena (Chet) Whigham, Dana (Shawn) Atchison, Barry (Heidi) Kelley; grandchildren, Matthew (Morgan) Atchison, Alexis (Daniel) Beech, Johnathan Atchison, Kalie Atchison, Austin Whigham, Catherine Kelley, Melissa Kelley; great-grandchildren, Gunter Beech, Myles Atchison; siblings, Eunice Keith, Karen Etheredge, Linda Turner, Faye (Roger) Bozone and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Wagarville Baptist Church with the Rev. Lamar Chapman officiating. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Atchison, Johnathan Atchison, Daniel Beech, Teddy Beech Worth Schultz, and Austin Whigham.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kalie Atchison, Morgan Atchison, Alexis Beech and Debbie Johnson.
