Flora Sellers

Flora Mae Dyson Sellers, 96, of Jackson and formerly of Coffeeville, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Jackson Health Care Facility. She was born August 17, 1923 to Willie Houston Dyson and Bessie Melissa Morgan Dyson in Walker Springs. Primarily a homemaker, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and quilting.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Honree Sellers; son, Ernest Sellers; grandchildren, Russell Sellers, Sydney Sellers and siblings, Willie Houston Dyson, Jr. and Inez Dyson Sellers.

She is survived by her children, Ann (Frank) Walker, Vander (Cathy) Sellers, Jerry R. (Roxie) Sellers; brother, James Roy Spence; nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and seven great, great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Ulcanush Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Butts officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery with Lathan Funeral Home directing.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Sellers, Ricky Sellers, Phillip Walker, Shane Sellers, Cody Sellers, Jeremy Sellers and Wyatt Sellers.

Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Walker and Denise Lewis.
