Floyd Terrill "Terry" Middleton, 54, of Jackson, passed away July 5, 2017 at his residence. He was born July 30, 1962 to Floyd C. (Gloria) Middleton and Linda Dearmon Chambless. A member of Stave Creek Baptist Church, he enjoyed spending time at the river fishing, going hunting, working on a race car with family members or playing with his grandchildren. He was also an avid fan of Alabama football and was employed by Borden Dairy.
He is survived by his parents; step-mother; wife, Brenda Middleton; son, Steven (Hannah) Middleton; grandchildren, Bryce Middleton, Aiden Barnes, Rylie Middleton; siblings, Scott (Tresa) Middleton, Kim Pugh, Cindy (Jason) Redmon, Deborah (Mike) Lamey; grandmother, Gladys Dearmon and special cousins, Jessica and Ike Koen.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson with the Rev. Jordan Matheson officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. and continue until the service. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be Byron Atchison, Josh Browder, Wesley Noble, Daryl Beck, Karl Wright, Jerry Wells, Danny Shaper and Bob York.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Steve Furr, Dr. Norman Stevens, Dr. Sid Crosby, Tim Mullinex, Vickie Smith, Donna York and Jackie Collins.
