Gary Stokes

Gary Michael Stokes, 64, of Jackson, passed away January 18, 2017 at his residence. He was born September 28, 1952 to Clyde and Aline Stokes. He was an avid sports fan. Having grown up in Knoxville, TN, the Tennessee Volunteers were his favorite team, but he was also a fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide.



He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde E. "C.E." Stokes.



He is survived by his mother, Aline Brown Stokes and brothers, James E. (Virginia) Stokes and Phillip Brian Stokes.



Graveside services will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Trinity Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Justin Humphres officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
