George Paul

George DeVane Paul, 74, of Grove Hill, passed away July 6, 2018 at his residence. He was born August 7, 1943 to George Clayton and Effie Wiggins Paul. A loving and devoted husband and father, he loved spending his time visiting with his many friends. A gentle, kind man, he always treated everyone fairly and never met anyone he didn't like.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Virginia Etheredge.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Paul; children Daniel (Minjoo Kim) Paul, Kristie Andrews; grandchildren, Lane Andrews, Jared Andrews, Kellyn Andrews; brother, Billy Max Paul and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 9, 2018 at Lathan Funeral Home in Grove Hill with Minister Stephen Glover officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Union Baptist Church in Grove Hill with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be Dwight Wiggins, Bob Chaney, Jerry Hare, Dennis Owens, Brandon Kyzer and Anthony Patrick.
