George Floyed Pugh, 80 of Grove Hill, Alabama passed away May 4, 2021. George was born October 25, 1940 to Elijah Lee and Minnie Floyd Pugh. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and retired from Ciba-Geigy after a successful 38 year career.
Preceded in death by parents; siblings, "WT" William Thomas Pugh, Alfred (Estelle) Pugh, Edward (Vernon) Pugh, Mary (Ferris) McDaniels, Estelle (Percy) Haskew, James (Ruth) Pugh, Ben Pugh; brother-in-law, Robert Leon (Ruth) Gilchrist and granddaughter Charlotte Rene Weaver.
Survived by wife, Aleine Gilchrist Pugh; brother, John (Betty) Pugh; daughters, Amy Pugh Parnell, Jennifer Pugh; step-sons, Scott (Sandra) Weaver, Craig (Charlotte) Weaver and Chris (Lori) Weaver; grandchildren, Jennifer (Chris) Wiggins, Russell Pope, Emily Sheffield, Wesley (Nancy) Weaver, Clay (Elizabeth) Weaver, Brylon (Courtney) Goodman, Brittney Pugh, Taylor (Blake) Napper, Madison Parnell, Camron Pugh; great grandchildren, Michael Wiggins, Jacob Wiggins, Chance Sheffield, Drake Sheffield, Randa Sheffield, Avery Goodman, Joelle Weaver, Rohan Bonchi, Wyatt Weaver; sisters-in-law, Nancy Pugh, Jewell G Gwin, Melvia G Paul as well as many extended friends and family.
Pallbearers will be Brylon Goodman, Michael Wiggins, Jacob Wiggins, Jerry Long, Ray Barnes, Jimmy Knight, Donald Dunagan and Larry Bagley.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 7, 2021 at Grove Hill Baptist Church, a visitation for family and friends will start at 10 a.m. Dr. Kyle Routzahn and Bro.
