Glen Douglas

Glen Arliss Douglas, age 77, was born September 11, 1937 to Mr. Collie Douglas and Mrs. Edith Palmer Douglas. Mr. Douglas died at his home in Millry, AL on July 12, 2015. He had worked in the construction industry and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Millry, AL.


Mr. Douglas is predeceased by his parents and two sisters, Neva Douglas and Zelma Singley.


He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ruth S. Douglas of Millry, AL; son, Glen E. Douglas of Millry, AL; daughters, Beverly Manley of Foley, AL, Glenda Douglas of Demopolis, AL, Gwen Douglas of Mississippi; grandchildren, Glen E Douglas, Jr of Tallahassee, FL, Ashlyn Drinkard of Creola, AL, Stephen Douglas of Saraland, AL, Vonda Goodnight of Millry, AL, Aimee Manley of Mobile, AL, Amanda Herman of Daphne, AL; great granddaughter, Olivia Herman of Daphne, AL.


Visitation will be Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Lathan Funeral Home, Jackson, AL from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 11:00 am at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Millry, AL. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
